''Vintage ads & posters, No. 119 -Old poster of French LU biscuits, 1897' - shared by KJS Chatrath

Lefèvre Utile, better known worldwide by the initials LU, is a French manufacturer brand of biscuits connected with the city of Nantes, which I was lucky to visit a few years back. The brand is now part of a US confectionery company. 'Lefevre' is a French family name and 'utile' literally means useful.
