'Taj Mahal (1684) - the usual & the unusual, Part-I' - by K J S Chatrath

 Do you know that the Taj Mahal's is not made of solid marble, it is only covered with marble tiles. The walls of the monument are red brick. It is said that at one stage the British even toyed with the idea of dismantling the Taj and shipping the marble to England. How very horrible - the idea itself!
