'Respectful salute to ladies in the Cabinet of Finland' - by K J S Chatrath

It happened in December 2019 but sadly did not get the importance in the media that it deserved. Finland’s new Prime Minister then took office, leading a coalition government in which all five party leaders are ladies. At 34, Ms. Sanna Marin is the world’s youngest head of state and three of her other coalition leaders are also younger than 35. Twelve of the nineteen new Finnish cabinet members are ladies, meaning Finland’s government has the second highest percentage of lady ministers in the world, after Spain.

Location of Finland in world map. Now a few words about Finland. GDP Per Capita of Finland is USD 50,152 (2018) as against India’s 2018 per capita GDP of USD 2009. Population of Finland is 55.2 lakhs (2019)
Flag of Finland. Finland's education system is regarded as one of the best in the world, and other nations are striving to emulate its structure of well-paid teachers, plenty of recess time, and less emphasis on homework and tests. Finland introduced learning of Keyboard skills from class 1 in 2015. And yes, Nokia is a product of Finland. I have visited this beautiful small town a few years back. More on Nokia, the town in another photo article.
