Trams of Milan, Italy- by K.J.S.Chatrath

The Milan tramway network is an important part of the public transport network of Milan, Italy. In operation since 1881, the network is now 170 kilometers long.

This is the world famous Scala di Milano with a Peter Witt streetcar in front of it. This is a tram of American origin: it was designed for Cleveland, and then used all over the USA. These were introduced in Milan in 1928 in Milan. Now these are being phased out with newer models of trams being introduced.

The tickets for the tram or any other means of transport in Milan,  can be purchased in the metro stops, kiosks or off-licenses.
